“Great Value and Very Friendly Staff”
The Alice Motor Inn is much like the old 1950s drive up motels of America’s famed Route 66. The rooms are clean and big, and the beds are comfortable. The free Internet, toast, jam, fruit, coffee and tea (plus full kitchen amenities if a guest would like to cook their own breakfast) are exceptionally nice. It’s a bit of a walk into Alice’s CBD, but it’s much closer than most of the expensive “resorts” in the area. Like most of Alice Springs, solar water heating is the norm, so if travelling with a partner one should have a shower in the evening and the other in the morning to make sure the hot water is available. The staff is very friendly and helpful and will coordinate with Outback tours if needed. On top of all the positive aspects are the great low rates that can’t be beat! They are a small motor inn with few rooms, so book early!
